Cluj-napoca, july 2025 – The Cluj1 platform is rapidly emerging as the most important quality video project outside of Bucharest, with a massive impact online and an increasingly active social media community.
Launched one year ago, the project was initiated by Adrian Avarvarei and Horia Nasra, alongside a team that has expanded throughout the year: “Hello, dear friends! Last year, together with many of you, we embarked on this Cluj1 journey—alongside Adrian, my colleague, and especially alongside you. In the meantime, two more colleagues have joined us. It is a video project, certainly the most important one outside of Bucharest, thus the most important project from the ‘provinces,’ as those in Bucharest would say,” stated Horia Nasra, co-founder of the platform.
What “quality” means: No accidents, no tabloid gossip, no weather reports. Only political, civic, administrative, university, cultural, business, and health-related topics.
Impressive figures for Cluj1: 36 million views in 3 months
The results speak for themselves. In the last 90 days, the Cluj1 platform has recorded no fewer than 36 million views, primarily through short-form video content – reels – distributed across major social channels.
The online communities are also growing:
-
80,000 subscribers on TikTok
-
62,000 subscribers on Facebook
-
11,000 subscribers on Instagram
The founders thank the Cluj1 community for their engagement: “These communities are active. They leave comments, get involved in discussions, like, and share. I thank you that over these last 3 months, we have all matured in this format and achieved these impressive figures.”
A platform with vision and content adapted for the digital generation
Cluj1 is not just a local project, but a model for modern visual communication in the Romanian digital environment. Through short, dynamic content focused on current affairs, Cluj1 has successfully attracted a loyal and diverse audience: “For the next 90 days, we aim for even better and more beautiful numbers. Stay with us. Cluj1 is the best video product outside of the capital,” Nasra concluded.
