The Cluj1 platform is the most important quality video project outside of Bucharest, with a massive online impact and an increasingly active social media community, boasting over 160,000 subscribers on Facebook and over 107,000 on TikTok.
Launched a year ago, the project was initiated by Adrian Avarvarei and Horia Nasra. Cluj1 content (Horia Nasra Show, Lumea lui Avarvarei, and Pastila lui Curteanu – hosted by Mihai Curteanu) distinguishes itself by exclusively addressing themes of real interest: political, civic, administrative, university, cultural, business, and health-related topics. By design, the project excludes sensationalist or superficial subjects—no accidents, no tabloid gossip, no weather reports.
The figures are impressive: in the last 28 days alone, the platform recorded over 40 million views (Cluj1, Apuseni Info, and Sănătate Info), a performance achieved primarily through short-form video content—Reels—distributed across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
